NASCAR 26 announced for September launch with Dynamic Track tech
iRacing Studios and NASCAR have unveiled the official gameplay trailer for NASCAR 26, the next instalment in the official NASCAR console game franchise. Pre-orders opened on July 29, with the game launching September 18 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
The new title introduces Dynamic Track technology, which evolves track conditions throughout a race weekend, alongside a redesigned driving model featuring overhauled tire and braking physics. Additional features include cross-platform multiplayer, an enhanced career mode with facilities and team upgrades, a standalone Chase mode, and a new Peak Performance training system. The game will feature four NASCAR series—Cup Series, O'Reilly Auto Parts Series, Craftsman Truck Series, and ARCA Menards Series—with real drivers from each. Kyle Larson serves as the cover driver.
New content includes three previously unavailable tracks: Qualcomm Circuit at Naval Base Coronado, Chicagoland, and St. Petersburg. Visual improvements encompass enhanced graphics, dynamic lighting, and improved replay cameras. Gameplay refinements include better driver AI, enhanced particle effects for smoke and debris, a 750 HP package option, burnout celebrations, and a new spotter character named Freddie Kraft.
Pre-order pricing begins at $59.99 for the Standard Edition. The Gold Edition costs $79.99 and includes three days of early access from September 15, four monthly paint scheme DLC packs, 1,000 career mode reputation points, and a $10,000 career bonus. Pre-orders are available at www.NASCAR26.com.
