Mondino wins at Luigi Fagioli hillclimb in Italian championship

Salvo Mondino secured victory in Race 1 at the 61st Trofeo Luigi Fagioli hillclimb, held on the roads near Gubbio. Competing for Cosenza Corse, Mondino piloted a Seat Leon ST RS2.0TB to the top step of the podium in the GT Racing category.

The event marked the first of two finals in the Italian Hillclimb Championship season. The weekend delivered a positive overall result for GT Racing competitors on the challenging Gubbio course.
