Prime Drift Open 2026 Concludes at Autodrom Słomczyn: Champions Crowned Across Three Classes
Autodrom Słomczyn hosted the season finale of the Polish Prime Drift Open championship on 2–4 October 2026, where Łukasz Pijar, Kordian Trela-Muchewicz, and Nikodem Pałasz clinched the season titles.
The 2026 Prime Drift Open season reached its conclusion on 2–4 October at Autodrom Słomczyn, gathering nearly 70 drivers across three competitive categories for the final round of the four-event championship. Beyond crowning the individual and team champions, the weekend integrated the "Petrolheads Unite" initiative, bringing together guest appearances and vehicles from hillclimb, rallycross, autocross, and circuit racing to celebrate the broader Polish motorsport community.
In the premier Masters category, Łukasz Wróblewski continued his late-season surge behind the wheel of his BMW E82, following up his victory in Koszalin by taking the top step of the podium at Słomczyn. Czech driver Daniel Pelikan claimed second place in a Nissan S14a, while Masters rookie Fabian Hała rounded out the podium positions. Despite Wróblewski's round win, the 2026 Masters championship title went to Łukasz Pijar driving a BMW E46 Touring. Hała's consistent campaign earned him second place in the final standings, with Mateusz Suski (Toyota Supra MK5) securing third overall.
Sunday's tandem battles in the Pro class saw Jakub Don guide his BMW E46 to the round victory ahead of 15-year-old Kordian Trela-Muchewicz and Jakub Kotarski (BMW E36), the latter celebrating his first major career podium. The second-place finish was more than enough for Trela-Muchewicz to secure the 2026 Pro season championship ahead of Rafał Biej and Don. All three podium finishers in the Pro standings earned invitations and licences to step up to the Masters class for the upcoming season.
In the Pro Am division, Nikodem Pałasz dominated the Słomczyn event in his BMW E46, tallying 97 points to take the round win over Aleksander Pelikański (BMW E82) and Marcin Wołowiec (BMW E46). Pałasz's dominant performance also sealed the overall Pro Am championship title, with Paweł Nawara and Borys Piotrowski finishing second and third in the season standings. In the team competitions, Turboworks Drift Team secured the Drift Open Team Championship, while Twins Drift Team was voted the winner of the fan-decided Team Spirit award.
