Oskar Marszalkowski to Make McLaren Trophy Europe Debut in Portimao
Eighteen-year-old Polish driver Oskar Marszalkowski will contest the 2026 McLaren Trophy Europe season finale at Portimao with Raptor Engineering.
Oskar Marszalkowski is set to make his competitive debut behind the wheel of a race-spec McLaren Artura this weekend. The 18-year-old Polish driver will contest the final round of the 2026 McLaren Trophy Europe season at the Algarve International Circuit in Portimão, becoming the first driver from Poland to enter the one-make cup.
While this will mark his race debut in the series, Marszalkowski previously sampled the British machinery during official McLaren Motorsport test sessions, working alongside Raptor Engineering. He will rejoin the outfit for the season finale, sharing car duties with Jody Lambrughi. The weekend in Portugal serves as rounds nine and ten of the championship, featuring an 18-car, two-driver crew entry list where each competitor tackles one 50-minute race.
The event runs alongside the GT World Challenge Europe finale. Marszalkowski noted that stepping into the high-powered Artura represents a major step up in his career, stating that his primary goal for the weekend is to run clean, build mileage, and maximize his learning curve ahead of decisions for the 2027 season.
The one-off appearance does not yet finalize his racing plans for next year. Before deciding on his future, Marszalkowski still has commitments in cup machinery with a Renault Clio, including appearances in the Clio Cup Bohemia season finale at the Hungaroring and the Clio Cup Series event in Portimão.
