Autodrom Słomczyn Cup Concludes Season with Tarmac Finale on 7 November
Automobilklub Rzemieślnik will host the final round of the 2026 Tarmac Cup at Autodrom Słomczyn on 7 November, serving as a memorial event for Krzysztof Szaykowski.
The grassroots season at Autodrom Słomczyn is drawing to a close as Automobilklub Rzemieślnik organises the fourth and final round of the 2026 Tarmac Słomczyn Cup (Asfaltowy Puchar Toru Słomczyn). Scheduled for Saturday, 7 November, the event follows the completion of the gravel series and welcomes amateur drivers for a concluding tarmac time-attack competition.
Participants will tackle six timed competitive heats over a course combining the main circuit layout and the paddock access roads. The asphalt surface is prepared to ensure safety and prevent excessive wear on street suspensions. The competition maintains an accessible grassroots format open to all entrants, requiring only an operational car and a helmet.
Timing will be tracked electronically with live timing updates available online throughout the day, allowing competitors and spectators to monitor classifications after every run. Entries for the event are currently open.
The final round also stands as the Krzysztof "Szaya" Szaykowski Memorial. Szaykowski, long recognized as a prominent commentator in Polish motorsport and closely tied to Autodrom Słomczyn and Automobilklub Rzemieślnik, was also the founder and mentor of the Youth Section, aimed at training young drivers and race marshals.
