Tomáš Pekař secured pole position for the third time this season in the Clio Cup Bohemia qualifying session at Slovakia Ring, edging out championship leader Bartłomiej Mirecki with a narrow margin. The driver spent the three-week break between rounds working on racecraft in a go-kart and was invited by McLaren to test the new McLaren Artura Trophy.
