The Rundstrecken-Challenge Nürburgring (RCN) has released its 2027 schedule, featuring eight events across the Eifel circuit. The early announcement aims to give competitors, organisers and fans sufficient planning time to prepare their motorsport activities. All eight rounds will take place on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Five of the events will incorporate sections of the circuit's Grand Prix layout. The season will open on 13 March with RCN 01, followed by rounds on 10 April, 27 May, 26 June, 17 July, 4 September and 26 September. The traditional season finale is the RCN 3-hour race "Schwedenkreuz" on 23 October. A highlight of the calendar is the RCN's participation in the support programme for the ADAC Ravenol 24h Nürburgring endurance race. The calendar is subject to change and was confirmed as of 12 September 2026.

Julian Śmiechowski claimed his third victory of the 2026 Clio Cup Bohemia season at Brno, extending Polish representation at the front of the grid. The third-placed driver in the championship standings won the second race of the weekend, ahead of Rafał Paprota and Alan Kluza, with Polish drivers occupying five of the top six positions. The race began with Dawid Babraj, a series debutant this year, starting from pole position after his first-race result was revised to 12th place. Babraj led from the start, but Śmiechowski moved into second immediately and passed his JTS Racing Team teammate on the opening lap to take control. The event serves multiple purposes: it counts as round 14 of the Italian Southern Mountain Speed Championship, round 8 of the Italian Twin-Cylinder Championship, and as a qualifying event for the Sicilian Modern and Historic Hillclimb Championship. With the reconnaissance sessions underway, competitors are preparing for what will be the climactic round of the Supersalita season, determining the national champions across the competing categories.

SMP Esports has opened preseason test servers for two Russian sim racing series: the RAF Championship in the BR03 Cup class and the RAF Trophy in the SMP TCR Russia class. Participants can now access the test environment to prepare for the upcoming seasons. The SMP TCR Russia series will feature a newly developed Audi RS3 LMS with updated physics, developed with input from AG Team based in Kazan. The car will compete against both generations of the LADA Vesta TCR, including an earlier version with balanced physics for competitive parity. In the BR03 Cup class, drivers may use both versions of the sports prototype with balanced physics, as well as a historical 2021-specification variant to add variety to the grid. Polish driver Bartłomiej Mirecki claimed his seventh victory of the 2026 Clio Cup Bohemia season at Autodrom Brno, defeating defending champion Tomáš Pekař in the opening race and moving within striking distance of the championship title. Mirecki started from third on the grid but quickly overtook front-row starters Miha Primožič and Matic Preša within the opening corners. Pekař, who qualified seventh, also made rapid progress and ran second by the end of lap one. The race was interrupted twice by safety car periods following incidents involving Pavel Paickr and another competitor. Red flags were displayed eight minutes before the scheduled finish, ending the race prematurely at the completion of lap five. Throughout the shortened contest, Mirecki and Pekař exchanged the lead multiple times, though the Polish driver held the advantage for most of the race and secured the win. Preša completed the podium in third place, matching his best result from the Most round. The result extends Mirecki's championship lead to 49 points; a margin of at least 55 points after the second race of the weekend would secure him the title at Brno.
