The 43rd Coppa del Chianti hillclimb has begun in the Siena region, with 120 competitors taking to the 8 km Strada Regionale 122 Chiantigiana course. Drivers completed two reconnaissance runs on the mountain road to gather data for setup and strategy ahead of the main race, scheduled for Sunday, 20 September.

Przemysław Bieńkowski and Mateusz Lisowski secured the individual championship in Poland's 2026 Endurance Championship with victory in the season finale at Tor Poznań. The pair's win marked their third triumph of the season and ended a two-race winning streak by their title rivals. Bieńkowski started from pole position and initially held the lead against championship contender Filip Sterczewski, but the Ligier LMP3 driver moved ahead on the second lap and began to build an advantage of a full lap before handing over to Maciej Marcinkiewicz at the first pit stop. Fabian Dybionka and Igor Klaja finished third overall and claimed the 992 Cup class title. Further class victories went to Jerzy Kufel and Rafał Rulski (up to 3.5 litres), Przemysław Silski and Zbigniew Kaźmierczak (up to 2 litres), Szymon Nowak and Michał Całek (325i Cup), Tomasz Urbański and Damian Lempart (BULL RUSH Super S Cup), Jan Kurowski and Tomasz Strozik (RN2), and Maksym and Michał Guranowscy (R-Sport Cup). Marek Zmysłowski and Michał Ratajczyk won the GT4 class in an Audi R8 LMS.

Sandro Zeller delivered a commanding performance in the TopJet F.2000 sprint race at Misano Adriatico, the second round of the season at the circuit named after Marco Simoncelli. The Swiss driver set a relentless pace from the opening laps, controlling the race throughout and underlining his early-season form with a decisive victory.

The 53rd Cronoscalata della Castellana in Orvieto will take place from 25–27 September, counting towards both the northern and southern Italian Mountain Speed Championships. Entry registrations are tracking strong numbers and will close on Monday, 21 September.

Sim racing hardware manufacturer MOZA is reportedly planning PlayStation 5 versions of its R5S Pro and R16S Ultra racing wheels, with a target launch window in late 2026. Neither pricing nor a confirmed release date has been disclosed at this stage.

The opening race of the final round of the Polish Touring Car Championships at Poznań circuit saw seven drivers handed penalties, the majority stemming from violations of neutralisation procedures during a safety car period. Przemysław Bieńkowski and Piotr Wira battled for victory in the combined GT3 race after Tomasz Dyszkiewicz, who led early in his Ligier LMP3, was overtaken by the two GT3 drivers. Mirko Torsellini, a driver from Siena, concluded the 2026 Italian Super Hillclimb Championship in third place overall after finishing fourth at the 71st Coppa Nissena in Sicily. "At the start of the year, the goal was to grow race by race and be competitive, but honestly I didn't expect to reach this level of performance or to fight consistently for top positions," he explained. Adrian Rzeźnik and Kamil Kozdroń have taken a commanding lead at the 70th Rally Wisła, the final round of the Polish Rally Championship (KIQ RSMP). The pair won all six special stages on Friday's opening leg, finishing with a 34.4-second advantage over championship rivals Jarosław and Marcin Szeja. Third place went to Łukasz Byśkiniewicz and Łukasz Jastrzębski, who trail the leaders by one minute. Rzeźnik and Kozdroń entered the event holding just a one-point lead in the championship standings. Dutch sim racing hardware manufacturer Heusinkveld has announced its second steering wheel design, the One SC, engineered specifically for compatibility with the Simucube 3 direct-drive base. The wheel weighs just over 1 kg, positioning it as a lightweight option within the company's product range. The One SC joins Heusinkveld's existing wheel offerings as the brand continues to expand its sim racing peripheral lineup.
